How does AutoSave determine my rate?
AutoSave uses usage-based pricing, which means your personalized Think Energy rate is created by analyzing how you use energy each month. When your Think Energy rate is lower than the utility's Price to Compare, AutoSave switches you automatically. With a connected thermostat, AutoSave also uses limited device data to activate guaranteed savings and optimize when your home uses energy.
How much can I save?
Savings vary for customers on the standard AutoSave plan. While AutoSave protects you from ever paying more than the utility's Price to Compare, it cannot always guarantee savings. Customers who connect an eligible smart thermostat unlock guaranteed savings of at least 5% every month — a predictable, more powerful version of AutoSave.
What makes a smart thermostat compatible?
A compatible smart thermostat must be from Ecobee, Honeywell, or Resideo, be internet-connected, and actively control your heating and cooling system. Compatibility is verified during setup.
